Principal – Neil Prakash

B.EnvD, M.Arch, Architect AIBC

Born in Saskatchewan and educated at the University of Manitoba, Neil Prakash spent 16 years apprenticing with longtime Arthur Erickson collaborator, Nick Milkovich, at his acclaimed Vancouver firm. As a design architect, Prakash has led projects of various scales, including community centres, plazas, religious architecture, museums, multi-unit residential projects, and private residences.

Currently, with Prakash Architecture Inc., Neil is leading his design team in various projects including a administration building for a first nations, a recreational cabin in the SLRD, and prefabricated housing research in partnership with the Nak’azdli Development Corporation.

Intern Architect – Rosa Newman

B.EnD, M.Arch, Intern Architect – OAA

Rosa Newman is an intern architect with a commitment to excellence in design and an eye for detail. She completed her Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia.
Rosa has collaborated as an architectural designer on diverse public and private projects including the new Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, a resilient housing prototype for Fort Severn First Nation in Ontario, commercial renovations, as well as single and multi-family residential projects. Her work often involves close collaboration with clients and teams, focusing on sustainable, culturally sensitive, and community-centered designs.

Milan

Intern Architect – Milan Nikic

B.EnvD M.Arch, Intern Architect AIBC

Milan is an Intern Architect in British Columbia, holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Daniels School of Architecture (University of Toronto) and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design from the University of British Columbia.
His four-year tenure at Leckie Studio Architecture + Design in Vancouver saw him contribute to a variety of award-winning projects, including multi-family buildings, private residences, commercial interiors, and prefabricated mass timber housing prototypes. This diverse experience has honed his creative and detail-oriented approach to architectural design.

Since joining Prakash Architecture Inc. in 2022, Milan has been a key member of the design team, working on projects such as the Nak’azdli First Nations administration building, a recreational sauna and cabin, private residence improvements in the southern gulf-islands, and a mass timber prefab housing prototype in collaboration with the University of Northern British Columbia and the Nak’azdli Development Corporation.
