The administration building for the Nak’azdli Whut’en First Nations is a single building comprised of 2 three-story offi ce wings that are separated by a common lobby. This approach provides the most fl exibility to the program and allows the building to house six distinct departments that can be independently secured and share multiple common spaces. The building is 2750 sqm and contains additional space within each of the departments to allow for future growth. As part of the project, we are exploring ways to capacity build within the community so that signifi cant portions of the project are built on the reserve. The project is currently on schedule and under budget, and has been designed with a 7 generation principal in mind so that it will continue to serve the Nation for multiple generations.
